Sculpture Garden Ice Rink – The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden’s ice-skating rink is a favorite destination, attracting thousands of visitors to skate in the park like setting on the National Mall, surrounded by extraordinary sculptures by renowned modern and contemporary artists. . E Street Cinema is one of DC’s many landmarks, E Street Cinema holds many special events throughout the year and always shows the best in new indies, foreign films, documentaries and restored classics. Partner Outing: Feel the beat of a local tradition: head to Meridian Hill Park on Sundays (weather-permitting) between 3 and 9pm to hear the famous drum circle, a fixture in the park for more than 40 years that brings together people together from all different backgrounds to hear drum beats and watch African dancing.

Mentoring Activity: African Mosaic: Celebrating a Decade of Collecting. A collection of 112 objects that represent ten years of work toward building a permanent collection. This is a free event that will be at the National Museum of African Art from November 19th to December 11th. Please visit the website for more details.

Trouble in Mind is a thought-provoking comedy that brings up important issues regarding race and diversity. College Bound is calling ALL PARTNERS to join us Tuesday, October 4 at 7:30pm at Arena Stage to view this wonderful piece. After the show, we will stay and engage in dialogue with lead actress E. Faye Butler.
